“ Sea Basin Restaurant I have been a customer of the Sea Basin in Rocky Point for over 20 years. I thought it important to share my experiences of the fine dining and warm friendly atmosphere. It is very rare that you would not see owner Spiro Karachopan greeting and entertaining his guests. Any given night you will see the many regular customers enjoying dinner and conversation. Most important though, is the fine signature dishes that are served. Fresh fish, steaks and Italian food highlight the menu. There are also many nightly specials added to the menu. “Eaten out alot in my time. Dislike new restaurants. Why fix something that's not broken? Get so dissappointed with a new unpleasant dining experience. Still, I'd heard good things about Sea Basin so I stopped in for their lunch menu. Yes, like many restaun=rants they had "Specials" howver, unlike those other restaurants their lunch menu "Specials" are quite varied and the portions were, much to my surprise quite large for a Lunch Menu. My how nice an experience that was. Nice clean place, nice folk, and best of all the food quite affordable, wonderfully prepared and so plentiful.
